Answering question Ok so Xboxone x will do 120hz 1440p but not with free sync. It will do 60hz 1440p with free sync witch is currently your best option because even if you turn 120hz on it will switch to 60hz because no game supports 120hz on Xbox. To get 1440p 60hz free sync set Xbox to 1440p turn on free sync on your monitor thengo back to Xbox settings make sure you allow variable refresh rate and you’ll have the best Xbox setting that you can actually use unfortunately there are no games that ik of that support 120hz on Xbox so even if you get your Xbox set to 120hz it won’t play on that setting instead it will play on 60hz hope this helps guys
