2-3 Weeks wait for Lumia White?

Just called my local AT&T corporate store (North Texas) for the Lumia 900 Glossy white. He told me that they are all on back order and there's a 2-3 weeks wait to get them in. He also said that the only other color he has in stock is the Matte black.

Is everyone else also running in to the same waiting time? I just felt 2-3 weeks was rather extreme (or I'm just impatient to get myself of my feature phone and on to a real smartphone )

Nokia really needs to threaten those workers in Asia, beat 'em with a stick or something...

JUST KIDDING have a sense of humor. I hope Nokia's "Foxconn" treats their workers better then the Apple slaves.

Haha I suppose there are more important things in life.

Update: Just went to the store to order it anyways. They said it'll ship in 24 hours. Sounds like a the rep on the phone was just giving me wrong information. Ah well, now the anticipation really begins!

My local corporate store was sold out of the cyan 900 (as everyone is) and the Titan II straight. I was fully expecting them to be out of white ones.

They had stickers saying to ask about "direct order fulfillment" or something like that...and I guess that's when they ship it directly to you

Thanks, I'm from the Frisco/Plano area. I'm curious did you buy a bumper for your phone? The rep at the store told me that these phones are very delicate and said that he highly recommends buying a bumper. I went ahead and bought the insurance on it, not too sure about the bumper though.

Yup, they put down my home address for the shipping address. Now, if I can just find a way to stay home from work the day it arrives!
