25 | Male | Lumia 640 XL & Surface 3 LTE

Hello everyone!
I've been a part of many different communities (Apple, Android, BlackBerry, etc), but I always end up going back to Windows. I'm not sure what it is to be honest, but I always like to have what others don't. I love being asked questions about what tech I have, or how ridiculous my phone looks.

With that said, I'm Ethan, I'm 25, and I currently own a 640 XL and a Surface 3 LTE. My 640 XL is running Windows 10 TP, because I live life on the edge (I don't, at all..trust me), and my Surface 3 LTE is running Windows 10. I am having no issues with my 640 XL yet, but my Surface 3 LTE is giving me major headaches. That doesn't stop me from loving it though, I know it will get fixed eventually.

I also work in a Microsoft Retail Store too, which is awesome and gives me a chance to chat with fans of Microsoft every day!

I was salivating until my CPU is under 100% utilization most of the time it's in use because Microsoft hasn't issued proper drivers for the LTE version yet.

Yes, Microsoft doesn't have all the drivers ready, and there is still work being done on 10. However, with the direction they are going, I have full confidence that things will get fixed. I used to thing, "Well, that one is messed up. I guess we're stuck with it until the next OS." But, these days, Microsoft is a whole new animal, and I just sit back and watch patches, fixes, and new features roll in. It's a great time to be a tech lover.

I almost picked up an Surface 3 LTE when I got my 640xl ATT was giving $200 off and if you ported from another carrier another $300 off making it $169 (if you picked up the 640 as well)

I have full confidence with Windows 10 and where Microsoft wants to go with their software. I think it makes sense, and wish it could have happened a couple of years ago.

Isn't that what Tinder is for? I wouldn't know since I have a Windows Phone...hehe JKJK DON'T HURT ME! (Yes I know about Timber, but quite frankly 'Tinder' is ridiculous and stupid.)

For whatever reason, my Surface 3 LTE is working 100% normal. I don't know what I did to fix it, but I am a happy man...or girl! bahaha

I love my 640 XL, I bought two actually. One unlocked from Expansys, which my Dad loved so he ended up getting that one. I've owned an 830, and that was a fun phone too! I miss wireless charging. -_-

It's a challenge, but I love working with people, and I love supporting a company that I truly believe will turn around completely in the next 3-5 years, both retail and corporate. I'm just excited to be a part of it.

I've been thinking about picking up one of those Surface 3 LTE models myself. I sold my Surface 2 (RT) a few months back and have been using an iPad Air 2 for my tablet fix. I might wait a bit longer and see what the Surface 4 pro brings to the table before I pull the trigger.

Anyway, again, welcome... Working at a Microsoft store must be nice!
