So, I don't know how many people will care, or even if this is news. Maybe all computers and tablets have the AVRCP profile. I seem to recall my iPad had all the BT profiles, but that's a different story.
Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised this morning when I paired my Purity Pro's with my 2520 via BT that the pause/play/next track/previous track controls worked. Unfortunately, the wired controls don't work, either on the Purity Pro or the Purity in-ear buds, but having the BT working is quite excellent.
