2G or 3G to save battery life.

Greetings.

I have a Samsung Ativ S and I'm wondering which one saves more battery life. 2G or 3G? I've Heard that a fully signal of 3G can keep the same battery consumption as 2G. Any ideas?

It depends how you use your phone. afaik, 3G will drain your battery faster because it uses more CPU(I'm saying this because me 620 is heating faster when using the net). maybe you wont notice battery consumption differences if you keep 3G in idle mode(not downloading).

I could be wrong though
