4/1 update - get rid of social tile?

MS health app updated on Friday or Saturday. Some good things, like increasing the number of tiles to 20, but the app itself has a tile on the top which when opened asks to connect to Facebook to do challenges. I have no desire to do so, so that is just wasting space and requiring more scrolling to get to the tiles i want.

How do i get rid of it? @devbent

Just keep swiping to the left in the app till you get to the last page. That should clear it. It's same thing whenever there's a update.

i want to know this as well - very annoying.

the same goes to the weight tile. as long as the app can not sync with withings scale the weight tile is useless for me.

Agree completely. Just like the tiles on Band, the Health app tiles should be addable, removable as well as reorder-able.

The background color change would be nice too....

Many are not very enthusiastic about the Facebook requirement, even among millennials. Guess Microsoft will have to provide the social competition in-house within the Microsoft Health app (or XBox) or keep relying on lesser known third parties.

Yeah.....I hate the fact that it has to be through Facebook. What year is it: "Facebook"? I have multiple friends that use the Band that I'd like to have the ability to compare stats with, but I am not (and don't ever want to be) connected to them via Facebook. The whole having to connect via Facebook thing is very 2010..........May as well have a MySpace connection option too :grincry:

Facebook provide an easy API for doing that sort of thing, so thats why many services like to use it.

Agreed! The need to use Facebook for challenges is a big FAIL and a complete disregard for user information. And while I get social challenges are somewhat a public thing per s?, I don't necessary want to post up for everyone to see nor do I want to tweet it or Instagram or use any other public venue.

you cant get rid of the tile sadly its stuck up there till microsoft puts code into arranging, hide or delete them all together. sorry
