4 second video too big to send?

I just took a 4 second video with my 928 and tried to text it to a friend and am getting a message that says "The file is too big to send in this message. Try again"

I am running the latest dev 8.1, took the video with the regular camera app and trimmed it in Lumia Video Trimmer. The source video was only 7 seconds, so its not like it may have kept too much from the initial file.

Any ideas?

How big is it? Could be VGA or 4K... 4 seconds doesn't mean much....

Thought you would assume default settings. The video is 1920x1080. The actual video file is 12.2mb (which seems VERY large for a 1080p 4s video). The phone goes through the process to compress the video before sending, but apparently isn't being very successful. I never had a problem before the last update.
