620 from UK on ATT

really like the 620 form factor and performance/cost ratio but in the States no major carrier is taking it. so would like to think about getting one from UK (Amazon maybe, link: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...ag=hawk-future-21&ascsubtag=UUwpUvbUpU2125341 ) and use on my ATT sim

but could anyone confirm it will work on ATT's network?

what ATT website says

3G UMTS network 850/1900MHz bands

Nokia UK says

WCDMA network: 900 MHz, 2100 MHz, 1900 MHz, 850 MHz
WCDMA max data speed DL: HSDPA - 21.1 Mbps
WCDMA max data speed UL: HSUPA - 5.76 Mbps

is UMTS/WCDMA the same thing?

Aio Wireless now sells the Lumia 620. Aio Wireless is a subsidiary of AT&T.

But to answer your question, yes the phone should work just fine on AT&T.

You're welcome. Aio is prepaid and I'd assume it's a much better deal than AT&T postpaid.
