Hi everyone. I own the following: L920 (WP 10 -latest build), L635 (WP 10 - latest build) and a L640 (WP 8.1, update 2). All three have been recently hard reset and mostly clear of apps. The both the 635 and 640 have the same 16GB class 10 HDSD card.
I ran Multltibench 2 on all three devises. Most of the results were predictable: CPU was about the same for all three phones, the newer Lumias had a slight edge in storage and memory. But graphics scores really confused me. The 640 was testing in the low to mid 40's. The 920 was testing in high 30's to low 40's. But the 635? It scored 6!
I ran the test several times and got a similar result. Reset the phones: Same results. So what on earth is making the 635 (pushing fewer screen pixels) so much slower than the 640 when they use the same Snapdragon 400 SOC?
