Can I install update 2 on my 720 via trick method? I tried the trick but it installed 10 and not update 2.. Has anyone installed update 2 on 720 or any other device via trick?

Unfortunately that boat has sailed as that "trick" was just a way to help with installing win10. The later builds did not need them as it was fixed.
I got update 2 for my L1020 with that method just before the changed it.
