I've been having issues with my 925 as of late. It will randomly loose service in an area that normally has great service, so I know it isn't just a weak area. In order to get service back I have to reboot the phone. This occurs at least once a day. I'm on GDR3 now, but the problem still occured on Amber/GDR2, so I know it can't be OS related. Has anyone had this issue before?

1 - Make sure sim is good, check on another phone
2 - Rub the golden part with a pencil eraser, it helps
3 - Try a soft reset, not reboot but soft reset
4 - If you can choose 2G signal, choose that and try to make calls

report back.

If it's not your SIM card then you probably have a service area like mine. Will shut off 4g radios instead of them refreshing for signal.

I've noticed this on several occasions. My quick fix is to turn on "Airplane Mode" and then turning it off. That get's things working again.

Having the same issue here. It seems when i come off of Wifi, it will not pick up cell reception. A reboot fixes the issue.

Got the same issue here in France.
When checking network properties, if you have a 3g subscription, be sure to limit your network speed to 3g and not 4g.
Otherwise your phone will try to connect to the 4g network and will constantly get rejected.

If your area has poor 4G signals, you'll make the battery bleed out in no time.
