925 to 650

Anyone moved from a 925 to a 650?

Thinking of upgrading? but wonder if anyone can give me a comparison of how the two run WM10.

Realise that 925 is going to stop getting upgrades when anniversary update rolls out.

Wife's got a 640, and that is quite a bit quicker at everything than my 925, and I believe that the 640 and 650 are very similair in performance.

There are some comparison sites like gsmarena.com

650 is slight better due to OLED screen, light battery-draining CPU and a full firmware support (instead of 640)

Surely, 650 is not a gaming phone (even if I played Asphalt a little ... very nice) and it's design is better of 950 too

Thanks, checked a few of the sites that compare 640 to 650, looking more for a comparison of 925 to 650, as I know exactly how a 925 works with WM10.

I think the 650 will be better than your 925 in every way (running W10M). I'm not so sure about the camera though but the 650's software is definitely more advanced than that of the 925 (especially Auto HDR)

I got a 650, I think that's the best 8MPX on the market, fabolous pics. Only limit (due to CPU) it's 1280x720x30fps video limit recording

I went from a 920 to the 650, It runs 10 much better, really, a very nice phone especially for the price.

Well, decision made, 650 arrives this week. White with lightwood Mozo back, will report back on how it compares.

Problems getting new sim activated at the moment, so not used in anger.

But initial impressions are the battery life is much better than 925, 150-200% and everything seems slightly quicker, still some pauses and loading.....but store opens quicker, apps open slightly quicker, seems a definite upgrade.

Did find it very light and thin, which I wasn't to keen on, but a Mozo battery cover has made it feel and look better.

Will report back some more when sim is working and I can use the damn thing.

I am struggling with the same. Currently 925 but the experience with W10 on this phone is far from satisfying. And L650 HW components are not that of an upgrade besides the processor. Is it better? Should I expect the same laggy FB app or long app openings? Lockscreen freezes?

It IS a reasonable upgrade. It's better than 640.

Only laggy app is (as always >.< ) Whatsapp... but you can imagine who is culprit...

Whatsapp for Windows phone/mobile... The slowest App on earth. Very long ago, the whatsapp camera was actually useful. Now we have hard times...

Is that W8 Silverlight app? If so I can only imagine. Viber got updated to W10 UWP month ago and until then it was horribly slow.
