I'm in the market for a new phone (currently on AT&T w/ HTC HD7S) and want to switch to Verizon because they get better signal at my new home. Since the 928 is free in most places, I'm thinking that's the route I'll go. In doing research about the phone it seems like there is a lot of articles that came out before the phone was released that said it was going to have an aluminum body. The best I can gather based on pictures of the phone it seems more like it has a polycarbonate body and the aluminum Lumia turned out to be the 925. Since there's plenty of you with the 928, can you please confirm/deny that the 928 has an aluminum body? Thanks!

There were so many rumors out before the 925, 928 and 1020 came out they all got merged together. the 925 has the paritial aluminum body (needs a cover for wireless charging) and is lighter than the 928 which is polycarbonate and lighter than the 920. You should like the 928 even if it is not aluminum

It was rumored initially and changed prior to release. I doubt there will ever be an aluminum 928.
