Okay, so I'm still a month or so away from my upgrade, and it boils down to two contenders: the 930 or the 1520. I can't seem to really decide which is best for me.

The internals are pretty much the same so no fuss there.

For the 930 (IMO):

The design is better for me. The 1520 design is sort of bland for me (I'm from South Africa and while getting a 1520 isn't hard, odds on black is my only option, I don't really hold out much hope of finding a yellow one, which for me gives it a stunning look). The black 1520 just seems sort of dull and lifeless to me.
5 inches is a nice size, I LOVE the aluminum band and the colors are great. Wireless charging is really cool but not something for me to jump off a bridge over. Also, running 8.1 out of the box is a plus for me.

For the 1520 (again IMO):

Battery life. This thing (apparently) just doesn't give up and that's a huge plus for me, not necessarily because I never want to charge my phone, but simply because battery life on the 930 seems to be slightly suspect (which of course amplifies the supposed amazingness of the 1520 battery). Also, the 6 inch screen could be useful in its own sense. I'm a 2nd year student and don't own a tablet. I'm not in the habit of really doing much college work on my phone, but if anything needs displaying, the 1520 can double up as phone and tablet in one go, I reckon.

Anyway, which do you guys think is best for me, based on the above and your own experiences?

I love the 1520 I have. The 6" HD screen really stands out. It has 32GB internal memory with SD card for 128GB plus quad core 2.2GHZ processor and wireless charging. I believe the specs are similar on the 930 but with a smaller screen of 5" but the important thing.....get a case. You can get a leather case with a magnetic lock for under five pounds in England so price will be cheap
