Last week my 830 (RM-985 CV LTA from B&H Photo) received the OTA full Denim update. After everything had installed etc..., I did a hard reset (I've done this with every phone). I always choose to start fresh -- no backup install.

Anyway -- after the preliminaries here comes the choice to restore from backup or start fresh. I noticed there were 2 RM-985 backups that I could choose if I wanted (as expected). However, the choices were 'RM-985 NAM' which is the North American variant. I was expecting 'RM-985 LTA' as the backup choices. So --- why would the CV LTA phone backup be CV NAM?

You were given two choices right, NA and SA ? OR were you given the 2 NA variants and not the SA variant or what ? and why would you want the SA variant if you're in NA ?

The 2 backups to choose for the 830 were listed RM-985 NAM. I was assuming that they would be listed as RM-985 LTA (the model of the phone).

The 830 sold through Microsoft is RM-985 NAM.

It just got my attention because the LTA model has updated to the full Denim. The NAM model hasn't.
