• Microsoft is indulging the request and has announced a Windows HDR Calibration app is on the way.
• The app's already been teased to Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel.

Xbox has the Xbox HDR Game Calibration app to help displays and games play nice with each other when it comes to attuning for high dynamic range (HDR). Windows doesn't have such an app, meaning especially light and dark parts of your screen can lose vital visual details due to HDR discrepancies.
