I tried out the first version of windows 10 on my 730 and then rolled back. I have a question about the newest build: can I hide the soft keys like on 8.1 or they are still there all the time?

Still there all the time. You might get most of the things same if you do the update again.

Yes u can, my 730 doing good with latest technical preview, no major problem, all working good, like backround bug has been fixed, except some apps maybe not working, but mine mixradio always crash after play audio, the only problem from me ist battery consumes high, make me feels wanna rollback, anyway its all good.

Tips, upgrade ur wp to 8.1 update 2 ( if avail), and then update windows 10 TP for phone. Gud luck
