Hey everybody?

As Joe Belfiore mentioned, the Charmbar in Windows 8 isn?t the best user experience.

Also I thought about that Windows 10 will be the best out of Windows 7 and Windows 8, but what about Windows Phone? Therefore I did a quick mockup how an action center/ Cortana integration could replace the known charmbar ? especially the part with setup a wifi connection. (also mentioned by Joe Belfiore)

For touch users a simple swipe from the right will open this new kind of "thing". For desktop users cortana herself could be a part of the taskbar and a simple click will do the same.

So what do you think? Keep in mind that this mockup was created in less than 5 minutes. ;-) be gentle..

I like the idea. It seems like Cortana would lose a good amount of her action without normal phone commands, like 'Text/call soandso' but those could easily be replaced with PC related commands, like opening programs, settings, and internet commands.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't know of any Siri integration on Mac computers, it seems to me that Microsoft could use Cortana integration as a considerable push ahead. It doesn't seem like it would be too difficult but having to code new commands for a whole new device could be time consuming. But still, I personally would love to see it happen.
