Add a Contact from the phone to Microsoft account, where did it go??

added a contact from the phone
the two choices given are add to

Microsoft account

or

Outlook(Mail and Calendar)

I added a contact to Microsoft account.
The new contact is on the phone but not on line at people.live.com

And the new contact is not on other devices in contacts with account
What is it synced to? Where did it go?

I was wondering the same thing some time ago.

I'm guessing Microsoft account in this case just means the local device.

In any case, you must select "Outlook(Mail and Calendar)" if you want it your contacts to sync to people.live.com and other W10 devices.
