Adding Favorites to Nokia Drive

Ok, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but maybe someone can help. I'm trying to add addresses to the Favorites list via an address in Drive, not via me driving somewhere and hitting "Add location to Favorite". There used to be a star with a plus, but I've lost that. I've clicked on a address in my calendar, and the WP8 Map app comes up. I click on the Drive arrow for directions, and then Drive+ launches. I could have sworn I could then add the favorite, but now it's gone. I just want to add an address to Favorites. Why is it so hard, or am I using the wrong app? Every GPS I've ever used had this option, and I'm not sure why it's now gone.
