Adding Live account to Windows 10

Good morning folks,

I have a question this morning. I have recently reloaded an HP laptop with Windows 10 and used a local account to setup and update everything including all the drivers and such. This morning I was going to add our live accounts to it, which it let me add them, but when I go to sign in it is telling me I must be Online to login the first time.. The unit is on line I log in with the local account and it's works fine on the internet, I've tried both the Wired and Wireless connection to the internet and they seem to be fine logging in with the local user just will not let me connect with either of the two live accounts I'm adding. Any thoughts on this?

Are you connecting your local account to a Microsoft account or creating additional users as Microsoft accounts?

Ensure your date/time are correct as well.
