Regarding the column of advertisements and links on the right side of the screen in the message board, I'd like to suggest some tweaking. Especially when using a tablet such as a dell venue 8 pro in portrait configuration, it takes up a significant portion of the screen.

Thanks for the consideration.

You should see a little black "close" X button on the "Tip Us On News" box toward the top of the column of adverts. Tap that and the whole column of adverts should disappear. This works on my Surface, Win 8 and Win 7 computers. I'm, not sure why it's not visible in your ScreenCap though.

Looks like the 'X' would be found just off the right of your screen. If you can scroll a bit to the right, tap that X and you should be good to go.

Thanks James. Just looks a little misleading to me with the current placement of that X. When I see it, it's on the "Tip Us News" box, which implies that hitting the X will only close that box, not the whole side bar. Maybe placing it above the box would make things more intuitive.

Oddly, I wasn't seeing it on the tablet, but clearing the cookies and history and reloading the page made it work properly.

To confirm, after clearing cookies and cache you were able to see the 'X' button to dismiss the sidebar?
