I was so extremely angry with the delaying W10M update at the end of the 2015, and I've decided to switch to Android. Bought a shiny new Xperia M4 Aqua, they advertise this junk like the best mid-ranger ever. Initially the app gap was plugged, I was happy. And then the problems started. Android is so slow. It doesn't know how to properly manage its hardware. It had superb specs - Snapdragon 615, powerful GPU Adreno 405, 2 gigs of RAM and it was lagging like crazy. Oh yeh, and the 8gb internal storage, when you simply run out of space because you can't install nothing more than 3-4 vital apps (whatsapp, viber sort of stuff).
Oh and the permissions mess - you can't properly move your apps on SD card, without rooting the phone. And rooting the phone is messy and you have high chance of screwing up even further.
Sony has delayed the Marshmallow update, still staying tight lipped, just like MS on W10M. And the implementation of adoptable storage is uncertain.
I got sick of it and I got back my Lumia 640 from my sister. At least I know how to deal with it. It works smoothly, even with lower specifications compared to M4 Aqua. No lags, no problems with moving your data to SD, no need to root the phone.
