After upgrading to Windows 10 I lost all of my files, how can I get them back?

i have upgraded to 10,have registered, need my filed urgently

after upgrading to 10,lost all my files, have registered and slill waiting. need them urgently

Doing a restore from a backup would be one option, I am guessing you have looked at your hard drive, what is that showing in the typical file storage areas?
