Alarm Question

Hi, I'm new to the forums and haven't seen a thread associated with this..

I got my WP7 (LG Optimus Quantum on Bell in Canada) a few weeks ago and I love it. There's a few things though that I'm not too crazy about and was wondering if maybe there are fixes or ways to enable what I'm looking for.

i. Alarm - When I set an alarm and it goes off it only plays an audio clip. Is there a way to get the phone to vibrate too when the alarm goes off? I don't hear the audio clip sometimes when I'm asleep and the vibrate would help wake me up.

Along with the alarm, is it possible to adjust the volume of the alarm? I've noticed that adjusting the volume on the phone doesn't really affect the alarm and it appears to be a constant volume level.

Aside from that, there's not much to complain about WP7 coming from BlackBerry.. I do however miss the LED notification light that would notify you for new messages and such.. it's a pain to always press the unlock button to see if I have any new notifications

Lastly (just remembered this), if anyone else has an LG WP7 phone do you experience this issue: when I plug in my headphones (regardless of brand) I always hear a static fuzzy noise. When I switch between apps it'll crack, and when watching YouTube video's I hear static on the headphones... Has been like this since day 1.. anyone else experience this?

Anyways, if anyone can help with the alarm inquiry I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,

i dont believe their is as I agree it can be annoying not hearing it. lucky for me my alarm wakes up my girlfriend and she then wakes me up :)

The only thing I would suggest is trying a alarm app from the market place.

I use the "Big Clock" app for my alarm. There aren't many alarm tones but there is the option for vibrate also. It's worth a try since its free.

Head phone fuzz. If you have tried multiple head phones I think the problem is most likely the stereo jack it self or the entire phone.

Re: Alarm

I tried a couple of app alarms, but eventually went back to the WP7 one. The thing I really like is how the volume increases automatically regardless of what you phone is set at. I would think it was loud enough to wake most people.

Only thing I don't like is the five minute snooze, I'm a ten-minute guy.
