On my Alcatel 4S phone, I forgot my pin, how many positions are pins?

Pins can be set to an unlimited length. But the typing buffer is only as long as the current pin (the reason why you don't have to hit submit after typing your pin even if it's incorrect)

I like the typing buffer limit though. Unlike Androids that make you hit ok or the enter key every time.
