Android App Hangs

Finally, unfortunately, made a switch to an Android phone (Sony Xperia XZ), and the MS Band app is not working It goes into white screen at sign-in and stays there. Apparently a recent thing, judging by other reviews on Google Play. Any ideas?

I have seen the same thing. The way I've gotten it to work is to close the app and reopen it.

I've seen a problem where it will hang if you "backspace" too far - that is, if you try to go "back" from the main screen, it will hang.

Figured it out. Somewhere else I read it was due to android system webview not being updated, and it worked for some people. It turned out though that service is not even on since Android 7. So since my phone was pretty new, it turned out that Chrome wasn't updated (apparently chrome is used instead of system webview since A7). I updated chrome and MS Band works like a charm
