Android Emulator

I know that a lot of you here are fans of Windows mobile, and I respect that; I however am still a believer in the Android ecosystem. I downloaded Blue Stacks last night and am impressed with what the app has to offer. My question to those of you that have experience with it? Which emulator do you use, and why? Is there a better performing, more fluid emulator out there? I don't do any software developing of any kind, I simply want to get the best possible Android experience on my Surface Pro that I can. That seemed weird to type......

I have bluestacks but its useless App coz it works so slow and games lags when u play with that emulator .

Well that's what I've found too, not too happy about that either.

Don't install BlueStack... you can't remove it.
I was not able to remove it on my desktop when I gave it a spin.

They are tricks to remove it on the internet, but not fully. It made a mess everywhere.
I need to format and re-install my desktop because of this.
