Another drop survived :-)

well, I've dropped the phone a few times already, but a few minutes ago I pulled it out of my pocket and as I did so, it went for a fly, with some force, and landed face down on a solid tiled floor... It survived, although as always the battery flew out lol. 15 seconds later and the phone was back on and working. However... the case does have a crack on it now, nothing major, but it's there nevertheless. I can live with that though, screen is just fine. Will get a photo of the crack when I'm home later.

It's a good thing that the force of the fall is absorbed into the battery and back case in such a way that they're ejected. Just think, with a unibody design all that force would be absorbed somewhere into the phone...maybe the screen, maybe not.

I was actually thinking the same thing earlier on, how the back giving in so easy, must absorb some of the impact even when it lands face down.
