Any issues with latest update? (2017.08.)

I recently updated my Lumia 550 as it showed one available. Since then most of my app are not functioning or closing short after I open them. Not just apps like RunTheMap or any other not system-built, but once even Configuration crashed and the phone jumped back to the main screen. With Outlook I can see the notifications of the incoming emails, but when I open the app, it says no emails. Then I do a sync and it closes after 10 seconds, also dropping me back to main screen. The very same issue I have on my wife's device, same type of Lumia 550. Can anyone help us please?

Oh.. additionally, I changed my phone language to spanish as I currently learn the language, but it should not mean a thing, as my wife's device did not have any change at all (language, time, etc).

Same here with Outlook, not working properly anymore.
Same issues as listed above, plus following:
Have two email accounts and when I try to go to 'Manage Accounts', the accounts don't even show up in the list in order for me to click on one to 'manage'.
Frustrating.
