Any news on the 950\XL update fix

Morning all! Ok really wanting to annoyed doing a hard reset on my 950XL. Has there been any confirmation if Microsoft has been able to fix the issue yet?

They know what the issue is and are working on it. No eta of a fix yet, but they are encouraging us not to hard reset unless there's a feature of the .29 update that we absolutely need right away.

I suppose a lot of 950xl owners did as I did; a hard reset and restore. It worked for me and seems to be running much better. You might just want to bite the bullet and do the hard reset.

Again, MS is asking us not to hard reset unless we absolutely NEED something in the .29 update right away. A fix will come.

I tried the hard reset last night and still no update. I'll wait now for a potential fix. I might jump back into the insider program, bit I have my 925 for that

Same, just did the hard reset this morning and still no update...sigh...


EDIT: re-installed the Insider app and it now sees it.

The .29 update has been pulled by MS because of some problems updating certain phones. That's why you don't see an update as yet. Keep checking; I'm sure it will be up and running soon. Good luck.

Not sure about the timing, but in California the morning tech news had reports that the .29 update again available. Those of you who have been on hold, please try again -- and please report either success or its continuing lack.

Still not there. Pretty sure there would be a pretty big hullabaloo if it were fixed.

I just re-installed the insider app a few minutes ago, now it's pulling an update for the insider configuration and the .29 update.

i would hard reset but ups wont deliver my ******** phone. scheduled for delivery 3 days ago going on 4th tomorrow..sorry just venting
