Minecraft is available in two different PC versions — Java and Bedrock — but they both have rather low system requirements. Chances are, if you have a PC from the last five or six years, it's going to run Minecraft. However, having a more powerful PC is only going to improve your experience with further render distances, prettier animations, and smoother framerates.
