Anyone able to HELP with a music + video problem, please?

I want to remove music from my "collection" in Music + Video, but I've no idea how to do it and there doesn't seem to be an option in settings. My phone doesn't show anything is downloaded (and I don't think I have downloaded anything), but it seems the music is streamed from somewhere...

The problem is occasionally it starts playing (it seems randomly) and whichever screen I am on, when I increase/decrease the volume, rewind, play and fast forward symbols drop down from the top of the screen.

Is anyone able to help please? I'd be very happy to delete the music...

I look forward to your replies from other users. I have used iPhone 3GS and 4S for the past 4 years without trouble. Now my lumia 1020 has me mystified a lot regarding its interface. I understand that it is difficult to build a user interface from scratch, but Apple seems to have done it. All WP8 has to do is basically copy the interface and change it just a bit so it doesn't look like a complete copy. Everyone does it now. You don't have to re invent the wheel time after time. Sometimes you should just copy the wheel. My month long experience with WP8 shows dramatic slip ups. Such as no screen lock orientation button yet, and no hardware mute switch either.

I am reduced to leaving my 4 year old 3GS in my car to serve as my GPS and music player all the time, because the Nokia Drive Plus and the music apps simply are not as good as the Navigator and Flicktunes apps on the iPhone. Nokia is taking on Apple just as Toyota took on luxury cars years ago. You can't be sorta almost as good. You have to be as good, if not better and cheaper to have a chance to play in that league. I am sure that Nokia is working hard, but they have only a short time to succeed, as shown by Rim, Yahoo, and MySpace of late.

Thanks for this, but there isn't anything listed under any of the scrollable headings under music.

The only place it shows is directly beneath 'collection', but above the music, videos, podcasts, etc. If I knew how to take a screen shop and upload it, I would if it would help.

If I scroll to 'history' it's also there and tap-and-hold's only option is 'pin to start'.
