Anyone able to pick up the 1520 at MS store during Xbox midnight launch?

I was told by my local MS store that I will have to wait until 10am to pick up the 1520, that the midnight launch for the Xbox One is exclusively for the game system.

I was able to get a Lumia 1520 at the midnight Xbox launch. I was told by two separate retail Microsoft Stores that I was more than welcome to come buy the phone at midnight. So I guess it's up to the store manager whether or not they were allowing people to get the phone at midnight.

There was no technical difficulties in their system with selling me a phone either, I was in and out very quick. I did however pay full no-contact price, I wasn't doing a phone upgrade through AT&T. If that makes any difference.

Picked up a red 1520 at Oakbrook terrace store at midnight. Got some free pizza and an xboxone t shirt. All in all not a bad deal considering I have the device and a $25 credit with the Microsoft store and don't have to wait till whenever the original order ships

Quick question: Did you get the $50 MS store credit and the flip cover when you pruchased off-contract in the store? Pls. let me know as I plan to go to the store in few hours.
