Anyone installing W10 on their SP3?

Obviously it's your choice. However, it seems like it would be pretty risky. It's probably best to put it on a secondary machine that wouldn't adversely affect you if it crashed.

I would if I had one. As for my SP2, I'm backing up some files and then going to try to install it. I hope everything goes well.

Installed on my SP1 and it's running great. Didn't lose anything during the upgrade process.

I posted on my blog my first impressions. Needs work. LOL!

I installed it on my SP3 and a Lenovo desktop. All pros and cons are the same with both systems. The SP3 was an upgrade install and is doing fine.

Just installed on my SP3. Very impressed.
All my apps (Modern and Desktop) have been kept. It took me one hour to have a working SP3 with W10.

Hmmmm... glad someone got it working. On my SP2 after it restarts and installs files it just goes to a black screen and sits there. If I restart it a couple times the black screen goes away and it restores back to 8.1.

That's because you interrupted the final part of the installation. Plenty people in the feedback app are saying that it takes too long to install (myself included). Try it again, but just let it sit there. Have patience my son

For anyone who has put it on their SP3 (or I suppose earlier surface pros) have you run visual studio 2013? Especially with the wp8 sdk/emulator? I've been working on an app in my free time, and really want to play with this, but not at the cost of reinstalling everything.

Also, the hypervisor installed by the wp8 sdk ruins connected standby. I wonder if that's been fixed

did anyone bother making a second copy via usb drive of windows 8.1 incase you didn't like w10? I just want to know how big a copy of 8.1 is because I only have 4gigs usb drive
