anyone read this?

Well Microsoft hasn't released anything lately that would 'blow peoples minds' and be considered the best of the best - so therefore none of their new 7xx or 6xx series would make the list.

The Icon was a joke, and the 830 didn't live up to expectations (I assume.)

So the only surprise was the One Plus One on that list. I find it hard to take that list seriously.

The ones listed are pretty much the most expensive, rather than the best.

Could you elaborate on that.
Which phones should then be in this top 10 list. And which ones definitely not.
(Personally I think only iPhones are overpriced because of there "status")

What I meant was, it seemed to me to be a list of expensive devices, which, as with other artefacts, are not necessarily the best overall. If you're going to allow yourself to put a hefty price tag on your product, making 'the best' may be relatively easy. To produce a well-designed product for a favourable price is much harder, and it seems to me that devices in which that is achieved ought also to be taken into consideration. I'm not going to name any particular devices - who am I to do so? But there are a few outstanding phones in my opinion....and that's the point: it comes down largely to opinion. We've all got our own. :)

Now I understand.
And of course what is "best".
It always comes down on what you can spend or want to spend.
