Anyone succeed in flashing a non AT&T ROM onto the AT&T 820?

I just tried and it didn't work. =( Said it was the wrong firmware. Well, I knew that, but I wanted to send it anyways. No go. Has anyone done it successfully on an AT&T 820? Tired of waiting around for them to get off their asses.

Negative. Attempted to flash an international ROM a while ago and wasn't a success. I've given up. I'm just going to wait until they release it (if they ever release it).
