I believe the point of this app is to also assign an icon or tile to it rather than the crappy preview that all mobiles OSes do.

It's a bit like Webapps from what I can tell.

I don't get a preview if I pin facebook to start. it has a nice F there

Yeah not many programmers know what to do. Try with a general newspaper or something. You'll get a nice screenshot of the whole page.

I have installed App It! and it works great for most websites, allowing me to pin to start and choose a suitable icon for the Start screen. However, I encountered several websites that cannot be accessed by App It! even though I have no problem accessing these sites using other browsers. Anyone else is familiar with this app or have encountered this problem?
