Apple acquires Beats Music and Beats Electronics for $3 billion

It's official, Apple has just announced their intentions to acquire Beats for $3 billion. The deal will include both streaming music service Beats Music and Beats Electronics. The mammoth deal will see Beats co-founders Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre joining Apple.
