Apps for Programmers

Are there any good apps for writing code in C and/or C++? I'm looking for an IDE, not something like Code Writer (look it up) which is only for viewing and editing .c, .cpp and other files. Are there any?

Microsoft's excellent Visual Studio lineup comes to mind.
(the Visual Studio Express's might be right up your alley)

I've heard good things about Eclipse too.

As for in the Windows Store, I'm not aware of anything heavier duty than Code Writer.

Visual Studio is great....i follow along Bob Tabor's excellent guides on channel 9,also he has a great website learnvisualstudio.net

Theres a new Visual Studio out....called
Visual Studio Community

It kinda adds all versions,and made for developing for both phone and desktop apps
