Is there any way to verify if AptX is being used or not?
I have a Bluetooth headset, that supports it, and I believe the Icon does, as well.

Unless it is in one of the updates, nope.

Windows 10M should support APTx (it's described that it does).

But to be fair... I have a great difference in quality when comparing the same audio files in my surface Pro 4 and my Lumia 950Xl... and it should be the same... (as far as I know...)

All the Nokia Lumias that could support aptx, support it after the denim update. I think there were like 20 or so Nokia lumias in all. The m8 and maybe another Maker out there also supported it...

The thing I am curious about is if W10M removed or did not support this once moved to RS1 and further. Some Nokias lost the HAAC or HiRes recording capability etc after upgrading to w10m.
