Yes phone feels great without cover but after I cracked my display I make sure I put a cover when I leave the house...

Charging case with custom designed Decal. When I am out on day trips I swap for the camera grip, and I just got a broken camera grip for $18 on eBay and made a 52mm Lens/Filter cover for the phone

Otterbox Defender and after replacing my 1020 I will never go without it again. Extra bulk,but no bigger than a Camera.

Speck candyshell. Phone is too slippery without a case.

I am also using the speck shell (white) and i took the wireless charging cover apart and put it inside the speck shell so it will charge wireless. Works awsome..

Got case on mine. Hard Plastic Shell for front and back, with custom picture on the back. Not really used it without.

Definitely a case, and on mine, a lens cap that happens to fit in the circular cut-out.

I jump between the wireless charging case, camera grip and nothing. Phone feels awesome with nothing on it but the cases add things that I use all the time
