AT&T GDR2+Amber, speculation on release timing

I'm not terribly upset about the rollout delay for the 920 update. I'm ok with a staged rollout, even if that means AT&T is probably last to make it available. Having said that, what I an worried about is motivation. If the rollout slowness is to allow the 925 to release before providing the update, well then I'm not ok with it. I'm concerned that if they're starting that mode already with the 920 former flagship, then they may stand in the way of rolling out future upgrades in order to drive sales of new devices. Such a tactic has precedent if you remember that the Samsung focus never got the 7.8 update.

I certainly hope I'm wrong about this. Anyone else with thoughts on this?
