Does someone know a method to use internet sharing on Lumia 1520.

By calling AT&T and getting internet sharing added to your account.

I didn't have to call. I just hit the on switch and hit the check mark and connected to my phones hotspot.

I think when I activated it was with my 920, they made me give up my grandfathered unlimited plan (I'm sure this would have been forced on me eventually anyway), and also had to enable it in my account I believe, but I'm not sure 100%. Anyway, whatever they did then made it so my 1520 is all ready to go.

Family share? I think that comes with hotspot ability. They need something to entice people away from the older plans and they get more overages on top of it.

no me and my mom are on their share everything plans. Not a family one.

I think that is what I meant. Anything that has the shared data can use the hotspot.
