Just talked to my rep at the Mall of American ATT store. He said the Windows rep was there 2 days ago and the Nokia rep yesterday. They said launch of the 900 will be April 1 (and not earlier so it doesn't conflict with some other phone launching in March). I asked if he knew the price. He said he asked the Nokia rep if it would be $99 and the rep said it might even be less then that. I then said they need to hurry up and launch this thing because I'm going to explode from waiting.

Can anyone else confirm this? I think I can make it one more month... Barely. :)

I was at the moa tonight too, in the at&t store...little over an hour ago..haha..

Im still holding out for a march 18th launch... No one will know for sure until nokia actually says something...anything really would be nice...

Funny.. I was there probably just a little earlier then you. Dustin is my guy out there.

Are you on ATT now? Can you give any speedtests on their LTE network? I'm trying to find some real world numbers for our area.

Thanks. I am also holding out for mid-March, just in case :)

As far as I know there is no AT&T LTE in the twin cities yet, ive read we're supposed to get it early to mid 2012.

There were some rumors that the release was being delayed a couple of weeks that would be from March 18 to April 1, 2012 so its within the realm of possibility.

Hmm, my upgrade is officially on April 1st. I was going to go to my local AT&T on the 18th anyway and "encourage" my inside guy to upgrade my early upgrade, a little earlier. Looks like now, I may not have to ask for a favor.

Ugh, serious? I checked the coverage map again and find there's a seperate map for LTE coverage versus regular 4G coverage, and yeah, Minneapolis is dark for LTE. That blows. I still love the phone but going to LTE was a big thing for me as well. I guess I have more questions for my ATT guy.. :)

Thanks for that info.

If it was the 18th then the marketing would've started already, so April 1st, or even the 8th, sounds about right.

Well its good to hear that Windows Phone reps AND Nokia reps are both prepping AT&T stores a month ahead of the release date. I would be shocked if it came in below $99, but you never know. If its below $99, they might as well make it free in my opinion. Now that would be a game-changer!

I want the Lumia now. :(

I've asked multiple times about the release date for it at the local AT&T store and each week I've asked they've told me they have no idea what phone I'm talking about. I'm like -.-.

[Just an FYI, My sister got a couple of the employees to confess they know nothing about the Windows Phones. They're just trained for Android and iPhone and to push people towards those. She clearly stated she did not want a iPhone or Android, she wanted a Windows Phone out loud to all the customers. ;) (She had to go in since she's on her 3rd Focus Flash.)] <-- Off Topic

I met a regional rep in one of the AT&T stores a month or so ago, he answered a ton of questions about AT&T and guess what phone he was carrying for himself personally? A titan. :D

Anyway I also heard April 1st or possibly later from some of the stores, this is after the MS/Nokia reps had visited as well.

Our contract is up at Verizon and we were willing to drop unlimited data to switch to AT&T for the Nokia Lumia 900 but honestly I'm tired of the waiting game and secrecy. When Apple announces a new phone it's ready to be sold and available in weeks. It's been 2 months since this phone was the big deal at CES and still no word on when you can buy the thing. In addition to that, news reports have it as a 'has been' before it's even launched with an OS that won't be upgraded. This reminds me of HP - lots of hype but nothing to sell. Nokia is letting the excitement go flat by dragging their feet. I'm buying a phone this month so I'm looking at other options.

This is the first LTE windows phone for them, I imagine they want it to be flawless. I'm sure they want to get it out as badly as we want to receive it.
