ATT GoPhone SIM cards of out stock?

I just went to order an ATT GoPhone sim and noticed they are out of stock both online and in all stores near me. I chatted with a representative and they just had a matter of fact, "yep, looks like we're out of those", response.

Is it me, or is it crazy that a phone company could be out of SIM cards? Am I missing something here?

Went to fry's electronics,were sold out too. Had to go to a ATT store to get one. Maybe try the local wal mart or best buy

Wish I had known you needed one. One came with my 635 and I don't plan on using it. I could have given it to you last night.

The AT&T stores use the same SIM cards for GoPhone as they do for regular AT&T lines. There's nothing special about them. Any AT&T store should have them. But maybe GoPhone retailers get different ones? I don't know. I got mine from an AT&T corporate store.

I almost purchaed a 635 go phone kit at frys! But for some reason I decided against it... $70 for the whole kit.. Now that I think about it, I may get one today anyway..

That one is still $49.84 at Amazon, maybe frys will match the price?
