Hi everyone,
I'm hoping someone might be able to help me out. I own an AT&T Lumia 920 unlocked. I am now on Ting Wireless. Ting supports tethering and it is turned on for my device.
When I turn on internet sharing in my settings, I get a message that reads (paraphrased): Your account is not set up to share internet. If you would like to upgrade please do so now.
Then I select the upgrade button which takes me automatically to the web for T-Mobile. Tmobile then states, your account does not have hotspot features and would you like to add it to your account. Problem is I'm on Ting not on Tmobile.
Now I was with Ptel, which did the exact same thing. Ptel does use Tmobile's network. Perhaps Ting does too?
Any wisdom shared would be appreciated. Also, is there a way around this?
