Auto update windows phone Sys Apps?

[Windows Central Question]

Why is it that we need a third party app to search for a system application update?
Why can we not do this through the Windows Store?
Is it me or I'm doing something wrong?
I'm referring to the fact that i have to use apps like lumia pusher, to search for the latest update to the system apps.
Shouldn't this be done automatically by the device it-self ?
By the way I'm using a lumia 1520 on win. 8.1

Open Store, go to settings, scroll down till you find check for updates, tap it and let it search for your app updates.

Or in settings in the Store, there is a check box for auto-updates, might work for you but I had trouble with battery drain when I enable this. For me it's a whole lot easier to just to check manually a few times each day.
