Automatically close apps

How do you set Windows 8.1 to automatically close apps you open after a set period of time like android and ios does ?

Otherwise it will use all my ram on my windows tablet until it slows down to a crawl.

Well it won't. Unlike in Android tablet where when RAM is full it becomes laggy while app is struggling to keep their existence, in Windows, Store app will automatically discarded when RAM is needed. My Windows has 1GB RAM and it doesn't slow down, I also have an Android tablet with 1GB RAM. Anyway I'm not aware if Android and IOS will automatically close app after set period of time, where did you know this?
