I've ready some articles about enabling automatic registry backups in Windows 10, since MSFT apparently decided to nix the behavior starting with version 1803. I decided to go the more manual route and I wrote a script which I then scheduled to run every day at a given time.
everything works as intended, except for the HKLM\SECURITY part. I don't see the file in 'C:\Windows\System32\RegBack' but when I try to manually run the command 'REG SAVE HKLM\SECURITY SECURITY' it says the file already exists and asks if I want to overwrite it.
what am I missing here?
